Making Dreams Come True
Andersen Arena was established in 1994 by the late Gary Andersen. He and his wife Linda moved here and raised their 8 children. Slowly but surely the pens were built, the arena was put up, and before you knew it, Andersen Arena became the central hub of the family.
Bill and Candace were married in the summer of 2012. They have combined their horse sense and experience in an effort to breed solid performance horses, catering to the rodeo arena. Bill has won at every level in rodeo, from amateur to the professional ranks, specializing in steer wrestling. Candace is a dedicated trainer, instructor and breeder. Candace grew up on the west coast in southern California. She is an accomplished rider who competed at the top of her sport in the Hunter / Jumper ring. She has the horse sense to know how and when to progress forward with a horse. Recently she has entered the competitive world of Barrel Racing. Candace welcomes this new challenge in the competitive arena of South Dakota.
